We begin all estate planning with a detailed analysis of the client's history, background, needs and desires.  No two people are alike--and thus no two estate plans are alike.  Each estate plan is carefully drafted for the individual client and may include a Trust, Will, Power of Attorney and a Patient Advocate Designation.  We generally provide our Estate Planning services at an affordable fixed rate determined by the complexity of the estate plan.

Probate is an often misunderstood process.  Essentially, a probate estate is the administration of a person's property after they pass away.  If an individual owns property in their individual name and passes away, a probate estate is necessary to transfer the property according to their Will (if they have one), or according to Michigan law.  While most people are under the impression that probate is a "bad thing," it often is necessary and can actually be very affordable, smooth and relatively quick.  We can provide representation in probate estates on an affordable hourly basis.

We can also provide assistance with other probate proceedings, including guardianships and conservatorships.

We can provide assistance to small businesses in various areas, including contracts, collections, litigation and lawsuits, employment and other areas.  Our goal is to provide affordable services to small or family-owned businesses in order to assist those businesses in their legal needs, thus allowing the business itself to run smoother.  We can provide legal representation to businesses on an affordable hourly rate, but there are other fee options available as well.

Litigation, Lawsuits and Trials

Litigation is defined as a legal proceeding in court.  It is basically a term that means "lawsuit."  We can provide assistance to individuals and businesses in litigation matters in district court, circuit court, federal court and the Court of Appeals.  This representation is usually on an affordable hourly or fixed rate basis, depending on the type of lawsuit pending or to be filed.
